Everything you could want in a home away from home.  Paul Bunyan sleeps six and welcomes you and your family/friends to a 1,000 square foot 2-story Scandinavian-scribed log cabin made of Aspen logs from the Justin farm.  This log home is spacious while being cozy.

A guided tour of the full-circle first floor begins to your left in the living area with a 250 channel satellite TV and DVD player, a couch and 2 arm chairs. Wide plank cedar floors beneath your feet lead you to a large gas fireplace with stacked stone topped by a polished travertine mantel. Next you’ll see a hand-crafted queen size log bed and handicap accessible bathroom complete with a shower chair. Rounding the corner and heading outside is a full porch complete with 4 log chairs, gas grill and picnic table. Back inside the cabin on your left you’ll find a full kitchen with a sink, microwave, coffee maker, full-size stove, 20 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer, dishes, silverware, knives, a few pots and pans. You’ll also find sleeping arrangements for two more in the twin size mission-style bunk beds.

Venturing up the log stairs to the second floor, you’ll find hickory floors throughout. Outside an 8 x 26 foot covered balcony with wicker chairs overlook gardens, a playhouse and open lawn. You’ll love the giant A-Frame overhang where you can read or relax outdoors without having to worry about the weather or anyone seeing you. Back inside on your right is a huge Ultra Bath whirlpool bathtub and a king size hand-crafted log bed. Around the corner is a video viewer, bentwood hickory rocker, 1920’s hand-stitched quilt and a full bathroom.
