Oven French Toast served for Erin & Dylan's wedding brunch

8 slices home style bread
____
5 eggs
1 1/2 cup whole milk
1 cup applesauce
____
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons sorghum syrup
1/2 cup orange juice
Directions:
Grease or spray with Pam 9 x 13 glass pan. Arrange slices of bread to cover pan. In food processor or blender mix eggs, milk & applesauce. Pour over bread.
Mix topping of butter, brown sugar, sorghum syrup & orange juice. Turn slices of bread over. Pour topping over bread. Can be refrigerated overnight and baked in the morning.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes until golden brown and set like a custard. Serve with maple syrup.
