Two Great Disc Golf Courses in Wisconsin!

If you haven’t had the chance to try your hand at a round of disc golf yet, now is the time! It’s the perfect leisurely sport during the summer, especially at our two awesome professionally designed disc golf courses at our Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast. The beautiful rolling hills, farm, and woodlands surrounding our Inn are the ideal landscape for exciting courses with tricky holes including elevation changes with a mix of wooded and open fairways.

For those who aren’t familiar with disc golf, it’s relatively similar to regular golf, but instead of balls, tees, and clubs, it’s just a polypropylene plastic disc and your own arm strength. Players take turns throwing their disc towards the targets, also known as baskets. After each throw you continue to where the disc landed and toss again. The goal is to get the disc in the basket in as few throws as possible.

As a guest at our Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast you’ll have complete access to our two 18-hole disc golf courses. We offer Dynamic Discs for loan, and as always, if you need a little lesson on how disc golf works, we’re happy to help. Find us in the Lodge with snacks and adult beverages to make your round of disc golf all that more fun and relaxing. We can’t wait to introduce you to one of our favorite pastimes. Check our summer availability and book your stay today!

Check Out These Two Great Disc Golf Courses in Wisconsin!

Spending a day out on one of our disc golf courses is a great family-friendly activity. It’s a nice way to bond with your friends and loved ones while enjoying the fresh air and getting some low-impact exercise in. Our two disc golf courses offer a different experience and often guests play a round each day on their stay with us. We even allow night play by reservation.

Here’s the details on our two disc golf course at our Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast:

Classic Course:

This traditional disc golf course has the honor of holding the top #1 spot as the best disc golf course in Wisconsin. The 18-hole course spans one mile of distance with the perfect mix of open fairways, wooded areas, elevation changes, and difficult shots. Each year we host a Wisconsin PDGA B-Tier tournament for disc golf players, where participants can qualify for the Tour Finale.

Many of the tournament players stay with us in our cozy cabins or campgrounds. It’s really an exciting event and guests have made lasting friendships from finding others who love this sport. Our courses are free to use for resort guests, but for those who may want to just pop by for a game, it’s only $10 for day visitors. This also includes access to our private trail system that weaves through our 200-acre estate.

Big Brother Course:

Our second disc golf course is a bit longer than the first, clocking in at just over three miles. It’s ranked as the #5 disc golf courses in all of the US among pay-to-play varieties. The length offers a bit more difficulty, and experienced players love to shoot their discs here. The surroundings on this course are stunning with amazing hilltop vistas, long emerald green fairways, and pretty wooded areas for a moment of shade.
