You’ll love the sweeping vineyard views at this beautiful Tuscan estate nestled in the Mississippi River Valley with an emphasis on Midwest grape varietals. The unique location offers the ideal conditions for cold-hearty vines to thrive. Elmaro Vineyard was voted the 2016 Wisconsin Winery of the Year and continues to be one of the best places for wine tastings!
- Tenba Ridge Winery: Another great selection of Wisconsin wineries in Trempealeau, this gorgeous wine terrace location looks out over thousands of acres of woodlands. The award-winning wines are bold and floral, offering some of the best cold-weather varietals grown in the Driftless Region. They also have a fantastic happy hour every Friday from 5 to 6 pm!
- Creekside Winery: Open on Saturday and Sunday only, this winery in Black River Falls is a lovely place to taste their big, bold reds and crisp, fruity whites. Weather permitting, find a spot on their expansive outdoor patio overlooking lush forests.
- Vernon Vineyards: This vineyard and tasting room is about half an hour from our cabins in Wisconsin. They offer a wide selection of whites, reds, and blushes, ranging from dry to sweet, light to full-bodied, crisp to fruity, and everything in between.
- Burr Oak Winery: This family-owned and operated winery in Lisbon, WI, offers various cold-weather varietals for tastings. This is one of the best Wisconsin wineries for a truly original experience.
