The Forest Therapy Experience

Forest Therapy isn't about hiking farther or exercising harder, it's about slowing down. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, or Forest Bathing, this guided experience encourages you to engage your senses, quiet your mind, and experience nature with intention. It's a simple yet meaningful way to restore balance during your stay at Justin Trails.

Is Forest Therapy the same as Forest Bathing?

Yes. Forest Therapy is inspired by the Japanese practice known as Shinrin-yoku, often translated as Forest Bathing. It focuses on mindfully experiencing nature through your senses rather than hiking or exercising.

How long is the experience?

Our Forest Therapy session is approximately one hour.

Is it physically demanding?

Not at all. The walk is gentle, slow-paced, and suitable for most guests.

Do I need special equipment?

Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are all you need.

Can I add Forest Therapy to my cabin reservation?

Absolutely. Forest Therapy is available as an optional add-on when booking your stay or can be added to an existing reservation, subject to availability.
